Accessibility Statement
1. Our Commitment
Eco-Pork co., ltd. is committed to ensuring that the PigDataStation website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that equal access to digital information and commerce is a right, not a privilege, and we strive to provide an experience that is usable regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort at our organization. We actively work to identify and resolve barriers, train our team on inclusive design principles, and incorporate accessibility considerations into every new feature and page we build.
2. Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA covers a broad set of success criteria organized under four core principles — that content must be:
- Perceivable — Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
- Operable — User interface components and navigation must be operable.
- Understandable — Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
- Robust — Content must be robust enough that it can be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.
3. What We've Done
To meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA, we have implemented the following measures across this website:
- Skip navigation link — A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of every page so keyboard users can bypass repetitive navigation elements.
- Semantic HTML — Pages use proper heading hierarchy (h1 through h3), landmark elements (header, nav, main, footer), and lists to give structure that assistive technologies can interpret.
- ARIA labels and roles — Interactive elements including buttons, forms, and navigation regions carry descriptive aria-label, aria-labelledby, and role attributes.
- Keyboard accessibility — All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are reachable and operable via keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
- Color contrast — Text and interactive elements meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds for normal text, and 3:1 for large text.
- Alt text for images — All meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes to be ignored by screen readers.
- Form labels — All form inputs are paired with visible or visually-hidden labels. Error messages are associated programmatically with their fields.
- Responsive design — The site reflows correctly at text sizes up to 200% zoom and on screens as narrow as 320 px without horizontal scrolling.
- Live region for dynamic updates — Cart updates and notifications are announced to screen reader users via an aria-live region.
- No autoplay media — The site contains no autoplaying audio or video that could disrupt users of assistive technologies.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the website may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are aware of the following known limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Third-party payment form (Stripe): The embedded Stripe checkout widget is provided by a third party and may have accessibility limitations outside of our direct control. We work with Stripe to ensure the best possible experience and offer alternative ordering methods (email or phone support) if you experience difficulties.
- PDF documents: Some downloadable PDF documents (e.g., product specification sheets) may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader compatibility. We are working to remediate these files. In the meantime, please contact us for an accessible alternative format.
- Legacy product images: Some older product images may have limited or generic alternative text. We are progressively updating all images with detailed, descriptive alt text.
We conduct periodic accessibility reviews and aim to address any identified issues in a timely manner. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know using the feedback method described below.
5. Feedback and Contact

6. Third-Party Content
Some content on this site is provided by or embedded from third-party services. While we request that our partners maintain accessible standards, we cannot guarantee full WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance for all third-party content. This may include:
- Stripe payment widgets — The embedded payment form during checkout is provided and hosted by Stripe. Stripe maintains its own accessibility program. If you encounter difficulties completing a payment, please contact us directly and we will assist you.
- Embedded maps or location content — Where applicable, alternative text-based descriptions are provided alongside any embedded maps.
- Social media embeds — Links to social media platforms are provided in the footer. Those platforms are subject to their own accessibility policies.
