Shipping Policy
1. Shipping Coverage
PigDataStation currently ships to the United States only (all 50 states and the District of Columbia). We do not offer international shipping at this time.
If you are located outside the United States and are interested in purchasing PigDataStation, please contact us to discuss options.
2. Shipping Cost
Free standard shipping within the United States. No additional shipping fees, handling charges, or surcharges apply at checkout. International shipping is not available.
3. Processing Time
PigDataStation hardware products are precision agricultural technology devices manufactured to order. Processing time is 2 to 4 weeks from the date of order confirmation.
Processing time includes order verification, manufacturing or assembly preparation, quality assurance testing, and packaging. You will receive an email notification with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Processing times may be extended during high-demand periods, public holidays, or due to circumstances outside our control (see Section 7: Delay Notification). We will notify you promptly of any significant change to your expected processing or delivery timeline.
4. Estimated Delivery
Estimated delivery times begin from the date of shipment (not the date of order) and are provided by the carrier as estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather events, or other factors beyond our control.
General estimated transit times after shipment (not including the 2–4 week processing time):
- Contiguous 48 states: Approximately 5 to 10 business days
- Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories: Approximately 7 to 14 business days
Your total estimated wait time from order placement to delivery is therefore approximately 3 to 6 weeks. The checkout page will display a more specific estimated delivery window for your order.
5. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We use established carriers for all hardware shipments. All shipments include full end-to-end tracking and require a signature upon delivery due to the value of the equipment.
If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the carrier will typically leave a delivery notice and attempt redelivery or hold the package at a local facility.
6. Shipping Restrictions
We currently do not ship to the following:
- Addresses outside the United States
- P.O. boxes or military APO/FPO addresses (due to the size and value of hardware shipments)
If your order cannot be shipped to your address for any reason, we will notify you before processing your payment and offer a full refund.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. You can also check your order status at any time using our Track My Order page.
Tracking information may take 24 to 48 hours to appear in the carrier's system after you receive your shipping confirmation email. If tracking does not show movement within 5 business days of your shipping confirmation, please contact us.
8. Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please document the damage with photographs before accepting or opening the package, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please:
- Check around your delivery location, including with neighbors or building management
- Wait 24 hours, as packages are occasionally marked delivered slightly before physical arrival
- Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number to file a missing package inquiry
- Contact us if the issue is not resolved within 3 business days of the reported delivery date
If a package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, we will ship a replacement or issue a full refund at our discretion. We are not responsible for packages that are confirmed delivered to the correct address but subsequently reported missing.
9. Delay Notification
We are committed to fulfilling your order within the timeframe stated at checkout in accordance with the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435).
If we are unable to ship your order within the timeframe stated at checkout, we will notify you by email before the shipping deadline. Our delay notification will:
- State the revised expected shipping date
- Offer you the option to consent to the delay and keep your order, or to cancel your order and receive a prompt, full refund
If you do not respond to our delay notice within the time specified in that notice, we will treat your non-response as consent to the delay for one additional revised shipping period, consistent with applicable FTC rules.
If we cannot ship your order by the revised date, we will send a second notification offering you the same cancellation and refund option. If you choose to cancel at any point due to a delay, we will process your refund within 7 business days.
You may cancel your order at any time before it ships by contacting us. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled but may be returned in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
