PigDataStation achieves 99.99% accuracy for pig head counting and 97% accuracy (±3% error margin) for live weight estimation. These values are based on in-house testing under controlled conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on environment, installation, and usage.

The system's deep learning model has been trained on a large number of images captured in operational farm environments to ensure broad applicability across varying lighting, pig movement speeds, and herd sizes.

Free standard shipping within the United States is included in the product price.

PigDataStation ships within the United States only. Free standard shipping within the United States is included in the product price. The estimated delivery window is 2–4 weeks from the date of order confirmation. International shipping is not available.

No. PigDataStation is a fully self-contained device. All AI processing happens on the device itself — there is no need for a PC, laptop, internet connection, or cloud subscription. Simply power it on and it is ready to count and weigh.

The built-in touchscreen displays results in real time. When you need to export your data, you can do so via USB. An optional Ethernet port is available if you wish to connect the device to your local network, but it is not required for operation.

PigDataStation is designed for straightforward overhead installation in a pig passageway, alley, or race. The camera looks down from above as pigs pass through, capturing counting and weight data automatically.

You will need:

• A suitable overhead mounting point (ceiling, frame, or bracket) above the passageway
• A power connection — PoE injector included, connects to a standard AC outlet (100–240V)
• Optional: Ethernet connection for network access (the device also works fully offline)

Yes. PigDataStation carries an IP65 rating, which means it is completely dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. This makes it well suited for the demanding conditions found in pig barns, wash-down areas, and other agricultural environments.
